Materials


The Materials done in the updated level are mainly taken from three separate asset packs: Modular Japanese Archetecture by SwordsmanCiTy, Military Airport by FreshCan, and Cyberpunk Industries Vol.1 by Softkick Game Studio.

In this mission, the main character is breaking into a military base owned by a Japanese weapons contractor in a dystopian cyberpunk future. Each asset pack was meant to convey those varying emotions through their distinct yet varied styles. They each have a similar poly count and aesthetic so they all mesh seamlessly together.

The foliage was entirely taken from the Japanese Archetecture one, however, because  it had the most variety in foliage available. I was able to utilize different tree types, grass types, and even flowers throughout the level. The yellow flowers indicate safety, as there is a healing item floating directly above the bed of flowers. It is a well-lit area that stands out, and the player will naturally go there anyway because it provides cover.
